Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley has one of the more up-to-date, in-depth blogs that I've seen for an athlete. Last week, Cooley became an Internet hit after one of his posts featured a picture of a quiz in his playbook which was on his lap.
The only problem was he wasn't wearing any form of pants. The whole situation ended up being explained, which you can read here. But long story short, his brother, Tanner who is the editor of Cooley's blog, was in the car on the way to the Redskins football game when Cooley posted the picture. Tanner finally got to his hotel room, and this is what transpired.
"So Tanner went to the hotel room, and Chris rushed off to the stadium. After he published the video, Tanner glanced at the item about the quiz, read the text and left for the game"Looks like the editor did not do a very good job which should be a reminder that even something like a blog post needs to be treated with the utmost attention. Otherwise you could be a little embarrassed. It sounds like Cooley just wasn't aware of his surrounding, and now he has been been the source of quite a few jokes on blogs like Deadspin especially in the comment section."But I didn't really look at the pictures closely," he told me. "Obviously."
What would happen if an Illinois athlete did something like this?
